Digital Ephemera Photography was started in early 2008 by Matt and Jess Ensminger.

The goal for this adventure is to provide high quality, interesting images for everyone. We specialize in Portrait Journalism, a fun mix of visual storytelling and posed photography.

Our goal as your photographer is to capture the special moments between you, your loved ones, and people who are important to you without being intrusive. We will do whatever it takes to get the shots that you love.

Matt is the primary shooter. He understands both the technical and artistic aspects of photography. He is always willing to try out new techniques and ideas. He is not afraid to get a little dirty or lean out of windows. He is constantly looking for new and exciting information about the art of photography. Making you happy is the most important part of our job.

Jess fills more of a coordinator roll. She knows that you are on a timeline. Getting people in position and fluffing wedding gown trains are her specialties. Jess is also the “paperwork person”. Making lists and piles are among her favorite activities.

Having recently been married ourselves, we have an understanding for exactly how much work you put into your wedding. Those little details that you spend hours on; making sure the color of the ribbon matches the detail on the cake, the bridesmaids looking beautiful (but still comfortable!) in their dresses, crossing your fingers and toes that the ring bearers and flower girls will be able to handle their jobs, and meeting up with the love of your life at the end of that aisle. We’ll be there to capture every one of those moments, and so many more.
